Thank you Roland for being so friendly to speak freely with our community.
Excuse me, but I’m not able to write correctly in French, so perhaps it’s better for me to use English, but I understand well written French so you can reply in your language if you prefer.
I had the good fortune, not many years ago, to be present at a concert of yours in Italy, in a small church during a concert season.
I was very impressed not only by the great level of your technique and musical interpretation, but specially by a very different kind of relationship with the public.
Generally during your performance you look directly in people’s eyes, so creating a very special feeling as if you are transmitting with a gaze the meanings of what you are actually playing on your instrument.
How could an amateur guitarist of medium level as I am approach your music? I have heard many performances of your compositions from many different guitarists, but now I realise such performances to be greatly different from that special meaning that you are able to give to your music in your live concerts.
Can you give us some suggestion to get closer to your real aims.
Thanks for all the beauty you give to us,
